The Canada Federation Candidate is qualified and will deliver on his economic objectives for Canada because:

  • Mr. Chamas has over 35 years of experience in Wealth Management, Project & Finance Management with focus on Nation-building Investment & Development Strategies.

  • Mr. Chamas understands that we are facing new challenges post-pandemic in Canada.

  • Mr. Chamas was officially, in 2006, finalizing the purchase of the Laurentian Bank of Canada to develop new investments in Canada as well as having an entrepreneurial-centric bank for small to medium Canadian businesses

  • Mr. Chamas has extensive experiences abroad with economic development in emerging market nations such as Malaysia, Ukraine, Greece, and Croatia

We must understand the evolving global economy coming out of the pandemic and how it affects each and every Canadian.  Pandemics may be a continuing challenge that we must meet and defeat with sustainable and efficient solutions.  How we rise from this pandemic to economic strength will set a new course in this global market for Canada.  But even more importantly, we must have efficient preparedness protocols in place, practiced, and standardized across the nation.  We need sufficient, self-sustaining sources of pandemic resources so that we are able to meet the requirement of the population to maintain working conditions and avoid wide-spread lockdowns and shutdowns that harm everyone.

Every citizen should have the opportunity to have a sustaining job that will lead to homeownership, quality education, and a health system that is responsive in a timely and efficient manner.  Building our economy and the well-being of our citizens will take a new and different approach.  One of inclusion instead of penalty and injustice. Canada Federation would offer every Canadian citizen the opportunity to bring their funds from off-shore investments or banks, home to Canada where they can be invested in business and development.

These funds will not be taxed, nor the owner penalized, as long as the funds are reinvested in business, development, or infrastructure projects with provincial or federal government agencies.

Throughout his professional career, Mr. Chamas has been involved in wealth management within the European banking system.  Although differing in approach to building wealth, the objective remains the same throughout the global financial community: creating, building and sustaining wealth.  These years of experience have provided a solid foundation of economic principles that Mr. Chamas will utilize in stabilizing, building a sustaining Canadian economy.

This has been especially challenging in the emerging markets of some countries that previously had little or no skilled workforce.  Mr. Chamas’ strategic alliances have encouraged their partners to work together in sharing knowledge and skills to build the local skilled labor force.

Some of these partnerships have been between nations coming together in investment and project development for power dams, bridges, and mixed real estate developments. Some of these large-scale super structures for business, residences, hospitality, entertainment and services; created thousands of jobs and boosted their local economies with sustainable revenue.

In 2006, Mr. Chamas tried to bring some of this investment and economy building strategies to Canada through his attempt to purchase the Laurentian Bank.  Though, initially, he had governmental support for his purchase, it had strings attached that limited the capacity of the new bank structure to operate as an entrepreneurial banking enterprise.

Under the leadership of the Canada Federation, banking would be more citizen- entrepreneurial centric.  Reducing the big bank profits; instead capitalizing on wealth management styles that grow the economy from the bottom up, thereby redefining the top 1% harvesting the profits.
